Train volunteers and manage the Box Office at NW Dance Project Performances.Assist with procurement and pick up of auction items for annual gala.Cover any shift not able to be filled or find coverage with other WS/staffers.Help train new receptionists to open/close the studio space – studio cleaning, basic studio management, maintain studio policies, registration process, ticket purchases (weeknight/weekend staff only).Assist Education Coordinator with summer and educational programming.Managing the registration software, StudioWorks, to create class schedules, student accounts and assist registration.Oversee the registration process for all youth classes taking place in the studio – monitoring transactions, database entry, confirmation emails/reminders, payment plans, class waitlists.Managing the studio space to ensure that students, faculty and staff are following protocols, including the health and safety protocols instilled during the COVID-19 pandemic.Consistent follow up and reminders about registrations, studio policies, and upcoming events.Notify staff of any rentals, subs, or building maintenance taking place.Database entry – Overseeing and processing all registration data into Arts People.Update website with current class schedule(s), teachers, closures, and class updates.Answer all emails that relate to classes, workshops, intensives, projects.Manage phones and incoming messages, making sure they are given to the appropriate person.Light studio maintenance also required.Ĭollaborates closely with Education Coordinator, reports to the Artistic and Executive Directors, and supported by multiple experienced team members. Ample knowledge of dance vocabulary and proficiency with standard computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and WordPress is necessary. This position requires excellent organizational and customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with detailed accuracy and perform multiple tasks simultaneously with agility. Other tasks include managing incoming phone and email communications. These tasks include overseeing the registration process for all classes, workshops and intensives occurring at the Creative Center, general studio and office management, and front desk staff personnel administration. They are reliable, show initiative, and can take on a variety of administrative tasks. They are friendly, warm, and inviting to all individuals that come into the studio and works well with other staff members. The Studio Manager covers the front desk and studio during adult classes, youth dance programs, and additional special events at NW Dance Project. Regular weekend and evening availability required. $16/hour training/starting $17/hour after two-month introductory period.
